Thermal Management Solutions Group wax thermostats with position sensors are applicable to heated and non-heated thermostats. A Hall-based sensor system uses a Hall-sensor integrated into the thermostat housing. This works in conjunction with a wax element with a sensor magnet attached on top of the radiator plate.

These wax elements with position sensors enable active thermostat control for optimal engine operation and reduced fuel consumption and emissions.
